Once I dated this guy who had a fondness for using the phrase "What's your dill, pickle?"
Only I had never heard this phrase before.
And also, he had a really southern accent.
And so I thought what he was saying was "What's your deal, pickle?"
We dated for 1.5 years before I realized that "Pickle" was not, in fact, a term of endearment.
I did always think it was weird that he called me Pickle, but one guy that I previously dated had asked me to call him Tiger so I just thought guys were weird in general.
